The Fabulous Bagasse Boyz would like to give a big THANK YOU to everyone who came out last Saturday night to our Red Gala World Premier event at Chelsea's. It was a resounding success. We'd also like to apologize to the group of older German tourist who were visiting bayou country and happened to stop in. Just disregard the invitation to jello wrestling and we'll return y'alls things as soon as possible. Sorry 'bout dat! But anywho, thanks again. It was a great night as Chelsea's was packed with standing room only [maybe cause they didn't have any chairs but we take 'em anyway we can]. A fun time was had by all and hopefully we can all do it again in the near future. Thanks again to you all and to Dave at Chelsea's for hosting our event, y'all are great and make what we do worth it!

The moment that you all have been dreading is finally nigh . . . proof that the end times are near . . . the Mayans were right, it's this year . . . much to the consternation of all that is right and righteous . . . so much for truth, justice and the American way . . . The Fabulous Bagasse Boyz video has finally burst forth from the depths of mediocrity!!!! "It Took A Woman Like You To Make A Man Outta Me" is on the Internet and available for viewing by going to www.bagasseboyz.com and clicking on the "Video" tab. The video was produced by Randy Rome Walsh of Stray Records Studio and is all his fault . . . he made us do it, he threatened to tell Mom about that little incident with the car if we didn't . . . There is also a bonus feature, "The Making of 'It Took A Woman Like You . . .' showcasing the photo talents of Linda McLellan. A couple of pointers that we learned (the hard way) at the Red Carpet Gala World Premiere last Saturday . . . be sure to be sitting down when viewing the video and have a glass of water and smelling salts handy . . . we're just sayin' . . .

Even though we do apologize to the group of Japanese tourist that Willi grabbed and wanted to get in a Jello wrestling contest with. He had flashbacks of Epcot. Don't ask, but hey no harm no foul eh? This is your last reminder (unless, of course, we get desperate, and then we'll be begging you several more times . . .) about the Red Carpet Gala World Premiere of our new video "It Took A Woman Like You To Make A Man Outta' Me". Come early and eat some mighty fine grub and get the best seats (or come later and stand in the back with a cold burrito). We hope to see all of our friends (both of them) there.
And, as our fame spreads far and wide (only because we have alienated just about everybody here local, except one little old lady who lives in the garden district, but we're working on her . . . she's a little deaf) we will be playing at a wonderful place in Alexandria called Saxon Guild Studios. This is an artistic co-op on Inglewood Plantation in Alexandria run by our friends Bob and Joel Smith of Smithfield Fair fame (well, at least one of them is with Smithfield Fair but since they are twins, we can't remember which one . . . but we think they share the same nose). Food, frivolity and friends in the cultural heart of Central Louisiana.

The Fabulous Bagasse Boyz are pleased as punch to invite you to the Red Carpet Gala World Premiere of our new music video "It Took A Woman Like You To Make A Man Outta Me". It was produced by Randy Walsh of Stray Records Studio and was shot on location in Pierre Part, Port Allen and Baton Rouge. The premiere will take place at Chelsea's Cafe in Baton Rouge on Saturday, February 11th. We will start playing at 7:00 and the video will be shown in all its HiDef glory at about 8:00. Admission is free (however, when we start the video, the doors will be locked and it will cost you $42.78 to get out . . . and we expect to be able to retire on the proceeds . . .). As for the video itself . . . try to imagine, if you can, what kind of things would come out of the minds of The Boyz if our imaginations were unencumbered by societal norms. And then add into the mix the most talented and lunatictual (is that a word . . .) movie producer on the planet (walking among us regular folk as Randy Walsh). Add in a couple of truly warped wardrobe and make-up artists named Lenore and Jill as well as the wacky Baguettes. Stir in a beautiful Russian model, a dog, special effects and a total disregard for taste or decorum, and . . . well, you sorta get the idea.
So, mark your calendars and call all of your most socially inept friends and come to Chelsea's Cafe (http://chelseascafe.com/) for what promises to be an event to remember. Come early to eat and brace your selves emotionally and we'll see you then.

Ok Boyz and Girlz, it is final. The Fabulous Bagasse Boyz will be having a premier of their music video "It Took A Woman Like You To Make A Man Outta Me" at Chelsea's under the Perkins Road Overpass on Saturday February 11th at 7 pm. Come out and enjoy the Boyz as we will be performing two Wonderfully Fabulous sets of music as only the Boyz can do with the premier of our brand new music video sandwiched in between. This is a don't miss event as all of Baton Rouge will be talking about it. We will be rubbing elbows with the elite of BR and hopefully we won't get arrested for simple battery in the process. Come out and help us celebrate the Boyz' music. I think y'all will be in for a treat, or least you won't believe your ears.......and eyes.........and that image will never leave you.........you'll have nightmares.....AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH

Hey Boyz and Girlz, we have some very, very exciting news for all of our Bagasse fans. The Boyz have gone and done it. We have shot a music video and plan on having a World Premier viewing of it. Randy Walsh, with Stray Record Studio, wrote, produced and directed the video and Pooh Yi what a job he did. Do not hold it against Randy for working with us as he had no idea what he was getting into. We are in negotiations with Chelsea's to have them host our showing on Saturday February 11th at around 6:30\7:00 pm. Of course we had to ensure Chelsea's that this will not be a reflection on their superb reputation for bringing the best music to the stage in Baton Rouge.........and I think they bought it. Anyway this is not quite finalized yet but it looks like it will happen. Sooooo stay tuned.
